Hi, I am Anthony Tong, a fourth-year undergraduate double majoring in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics at UC San Diego.

I currently work with Professor Garrison W. Cottrell on the SMART (Small Molecule Accurate Recognition Technology) project, working on building interpretable and verifiable representations, architectures, and agents for molecular structure determination. I was previously advised by Professor Edwin A. Solares on computer-vision projects in species rescue and agricultural and language conservation, and by Professors Shengjie Zhai and Ming Zhu on LLM tokenization and domain adaptation. I am also grateful to have worked with Professor Arya Mazumdar through the Regents Scholars Research Initiative on logistic regression and diffusion generative models.
